This module allows you to import and export your magento customer data. This extension also supports import/export of all customer data such as (customer type / all addresses / default billing and shipping address / password / password hashes).
FEATURES:
- Import/Export all customer data
- Export Customersand passwords (hashes) from Magento 1 and import them into Magento 2 with converted hashes. *you will need the Magento2 Module as well Magneto 2 Customer Import/Export
- Can import/export all customer addresses. Including default billing / shipping addresess AND all other customer addresses
- Can optionally create Customer Groups at time of import if they do not exist
- Can optionally export a range of customers vs all customers or export customers by filters like name/address details/email etc

I had to export about 4000 customers from an old Magento Version (1.4) to a newer one (1.9).Price Quality Value
The export took some time to finish and the import too, but in the end, all customers including their passwords were migrated nicely to the new shop.
I tried logging in in the new shop with a migrated customer and it worked.

We had to move several sites and combine them into a single magento installation. This extension relieved so much pressure because it was able to migrate all the data using CSV or XML instead of having to manually migrate using the database or some other custom script to get the job done. Some of the settings were a little difficult to get right when importing, but Scott the developer was always quick and willing to help out! I tried the native Magento customer import and ran into two problems. First, it can't import a plain text password. I know, plain text passwords are a bad thing. But I'm converting from an ancient shopping cart that didn't know any better. The second problem is that when I imported a customer, the "forgot password" function didn't work; the reset password message was never sent.Price Quality Value
This extension handles both problems. I was able to import customers from the old store and retain their passwords, and the 'forgot password' function worked.
This is a one-time conversion, but this extension has turned a big problem into an easy task. Highly recommended. Posted on May 14, 2017
