It appeared that I was the first person to try this extension. Since I have used a few of Scott's Import/Export extensions, i did not hesitate.
As usual, I emailed Scott for helps and questions and as always he got back to me with an answer. This time, he went to our site to fix things for us.
This extension makes use of Google Custom Search and is much better than the standard Magento search.

I've been wanting to integrate Google's Custom Search Engine for some time. Code examples to integrate it myself were mostly tacked on hacks or were reported as not working. In the end I decided it was not worth the time in comparison to the reasonable cost of the various Google Custom Search extensions.
None of the offered extensions had a significant feature difference or advantage when reading reviews of the extension itself. I decided on the version from Commerce Extensions because reviews for their other modules all indicated they give good support.
Installation was easy, the search page worked right away but the search box disappeared. A short e-mail to Commerce Extension, access granted to my test system and Scott Bolasevich had the problem fixed in 15 minutes. It was a problem caused by my custom template which Scott then fixed. He told me what caused the problem, what file he changed and now it works as desired. Posted on May 11, 2013
